Helen Folasade Adu is a British soul singer best known as the frontwoman of Sade. As well as enjoying success with albums such as Diamond Life and Love Deluxe, Sade also appeared in the film Absolute Beginners. As Sweetback, the male members of Sade (Paul Spencer Denman, Andrew Hale and Stuart Matthewman) are responsible for one of our all-time favourite albums, Sweetback.
